Grower Dues

Currently, in order to fund substantial legal and biological consultant fees associated with new federal shellfish permit requirements, PCSGA grower dues are 1% of farm-gate sales, or a minimum of $200 annually.

Farm-gate sales is the first sale price for which live product is sold by the original producer or, in those instances where the original producer is further processing their own product to add value, it would be the market price of that product if that processor had to purchase the product from other growers.
